Monastery with a Baroque pharmacy
The guided tour focuses on monastic life in the 18th century. It begins in the former novice refectory and continues to the ground floor of the large convent, which is the main monastery building. Visitors will see the library, monks' cell, study, latrines, heating room, dining room and cloister with a view of the heavenly courtyard. The library corridor displays several rare educational paintings from the cycle of the so-called Zlatá Koruna school, which was founded by the last abbot for the children of local subjects. The highlight of the tour is the unique Baroque pharmacy in the former monastery kitchen.
